As part of the policy of the National Research Center aimed at supporting scientific relations between the center and various national and foreign centers, universities and research organizations.
Today, Dr. Hussein Darwish – Acting Head of the Center – received a delegation from the Sultanate of Oman University of Technology and Applied Sciences led by Dr. Saeed Jaaboub – University Vice President for Graduate Studies, Scientific Research and Innovation – Prof. Dr. Afraa Al-Adawiya – Dean of the College of Applied Sciences and Pharmacy – and Dr. Yahya Al Shamsi – Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology.
The meeting took place on the Egyptian side in the presence of Dr. Mamdouh Moawad Ali Hassan – Vice President of the Center for Scientific Affairs and Research – Dr. Khaled Ahmed Shams – Advisor to the Head of the Center – and the Deans of the various institutes of the National Research Center, and Dr. Ahmed Ismail – Professor at the Research Institute of Chemical Industries and coordinator of the meeting.
During this meeting, frameworks for cooperation and exchange of experiences were discussed between the two parties, and the deans of the institutes of the center gave a quick overview of the objectives of their institutes and their various specializations, as well as their production and service units.
It should be noted that certain projects, applied research, industrial exhibitions and services provided by the Center of Medical Excellence of the National Research Center have been examined, with a view to concluding a series of agreements between the National Research Center and the University of Technology and Applied Sciences.
Dr. Saeed Jaaboub and his accompanying delegation praised the outcomes of the meeting, the fruitful discussions and the development they witnessed in all areas of research and development, which helps to drive development forward. His Excellency welcomed the joint cooperation between the two parties in several fields, especially the fields of engineering, textile industries, pharmaceutical sciences and chemical industries, pointing out that the National Research Center is considered one of the most important multidisciplinary applied research centers in Egypt and the Middle East, and one of the main research institutions linking scientific research with industry.
